Stanpa Foundation

The Stanpa Foundation is a non-profit organisation promoted by our Association, along with 18 perfume and cosmetics companies and 15 partner entities, with the main purpose of helping women with cancer re-establish their self-image and recover their self-esteem, so they can fight cancer with greater confidence.
The programme, known in Spain as “Ponte guapa, te sentirás mejor”, is part of the successful international campaign “Look good, feel better”. This idea has grown into a network of 21,000 volunteers and has helped 1.4 million patients in 25 countries around the world.

In our case, with the help of volunteer beauty experts, make-up artists and healthcare professionals, since 2012 the Foundation has organised over 540 free workshops. In these sessions, around 8,000 women have learned to protect themselves from the sun, use make-up and look after their skin, hair and nails during treatment.

This initiative has earned the Foundation recognition for its work in the public interest from the Ministry of Health, Social Services and Equality. This recognition highlights the role of the cosmetics industry in society, with achievements including supporting people through the benefits of self-care.

The programme is active in over 40 public hospitals in Madrid, Barcelona, Valladolid, Girona, Ciudad Real, Tarragona, Santiago de Compostela, Valencia, Albacete, Alicante, Vitoria, Tortosa, Pontevedra, Vigo and Cáceres.
